Telepractice Hub: Resources for effective telepractice delivery
Expanding and enhancing the continuum of care via digital technologies gives child and family services the potential to reach more families, more effectively.
The Telepractice Hub provides resources, guides, research and information to help services identify when and how telepractice might work for their clients and build skills and knowledge in effective telepractice delivery. These include:
- Telepractice basics – information about what telepractice is and how can it benefit clients and services.
- Resources on using telepractice in the family and relationship service sector; strategies to virtually support and engage families of young children; and an introduction to hybrid care models.
- Guides on responding to risks and having child safety conversations via telepractice and supporting culturally and linguistically diverse families and people with disabilities via telepractice.
- Contemporary research on best practice in telepractice.
The Telepractice Hub is an initiative of the Parenting Research Centre with support from the Department of Communities and Justice and Victorian Government Department of Families, Fairness and Housing. Many of the resources on the hub were co-developed with Karitane and partners involved in the NGO Telepractice Venture.
